There’s never been a more critical time to be Leveraging the power of YouTube to Gain Exposure with Potential Clients. By now, we all understand the need to post videos. Studies show that consumers spend more time online watching videos than anything else online, and there’s no reason you can’t take advantage of this growing audience to grow your Law Firm!
Recently YouTube Marketing Expert Cindy Speaker shared some fantastic tips and strategies for law firm’s seeking to harness the power of YouTube, here are just a few:
- Rethink your YouTube Strategy—It isn’t only a repository library for videos. It’s a place you can get clients! People searching on YouTube have intent- it’s not like Facebook. Viewers want information and are searching for it. You need to provide that information with engaging content and a clear call to action!
- Do Your Research—Look at your competition- spend time on YouTube and do some searches to see what videos are showing up higher than others and examine their content and keyword to develop your own Strategy for YouTube SEO.
- Create a Playlist—and pay attention to how your videos are titled- using strategic keywords
- Use Custom Thumbnails (90% of the highest performing videos on YouTube use them) Go to www.designpickle.com or Canva to set these up.
- Use cards, end screens, audio jungles, and a subscription button. Content should be informational-driven and engaging, not TV-style commercials saying “Hire me”—Length should be a variety of longer videos, 10 minutes or more, and shorter 2-3 Min FAQs.
- When you upload a video to YouTube, use keywords in the file name, and make sure you use captions since most people watching videos are on their mobile devices with the sound down. You can use programs like rev.com for transcripts to upload.
